Privacy policy

This explains what Paraspar ERP keeps about you and your business, and what we do with it. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we keep

• Your account: your name, email address and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your two-step sign-in setting.
• Your business data: the companies, customers, suppliers, items, documents and accounts you enter.
• A record of changes: who changed what and when, inside each company, so its books can be trusted.

Where it is kept

The database runs on Supabase in Mumbai, India. The app is served by Cloudflare. Emails (such as confirming your address) are sent through our email provider. These companies process data for us and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data, and there is no advertising.
• The app loads no third-party trackers. Your business data is never cached on shared machines.

Keeping it safe

• Each company's data is separated at the database level: nobody outside a company can read it.
• All traffic is encrypted, and nightly backups are encrypted with a key we hold offline.

Your rights

• See and correct your data at any time in the app.
• Export a company's data, or delete a company or your account, from Settings. Deleted data is removed from backups as they expire, within 90 days.
• Write to us to ask what we hold, to withdraw consent, or to raise a complaint.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes, and we will tell you about anything important.
